Through Madeleine Rechnagel`s journey of aiming a waste-free lifestyle in Bangkok, she realized that awareness and consciousness starts with us. When she paid more attention to the waste she found on the beach during her vacation on Koh Phangan in 2015, she started to learn more about her own waste habits. That’s where the change really started, by taking small steps and learning more about the impact of how she shop, eat, travel and do business. Since she started with THE SUSTAINABLE SELF in 2016, she has helped encourage and inspire people and organizations to live and act more mindfully through meaningful events, talks and interactive workshops.
