Come experience what I dare call my method of meditation... Now, I ain't saying I'm a guru... There is just something melodic and hypnotic about the rhythmic clicking of needles and the feel of the yarn running through the fingers. My mother and grandmother passed on knitting, crocheting and more to me... You will be equipped to cast on and off stitches, knit and purl and try several stitching patterns. Go at your own pace as you learn and practice stitches and begin your collection of swatches and patterns- these are great references later... as you progress!

The art of batik is most highly developed in the island of Java in Indonesia. This simplified and safer version consists of resisting the color with white glue.
